Only doctors with the following qualifications can be involved in declaring brain death:-
(a) Having obtained at least a master's degree in medical science and having worked for at least five years in the field related to that subject,
(b) Permanently registered as a specialist physician in the Nepal Medical Council (c) Nepalese citizens.
